SmartMesh Web3 ecosystem partner MetaLife Foundation, which is developing the Interstellar Social Network application called MetaLife, has signed an investment agreement with a cryptocurrency fund in Singapore on Saturday as part of MetaLife‘s first-ever angel funding round.
SmartMesh founder Henry Wang and Vice President Soh Har Pang discussed the preparations for the 3rd SUSS SmartMesh Web3 & Metaverse Workshop with Professor Swee Won and Director Professor David Li Guoquan’s assistant at Singapore University of Social Sciences this week.
The specific work is as follows:
1.1 Connecting the new incentive interface for Social-Fi super nodes, discussing how to connect daily check-in and NFT casting incentives, and implementing the interface to provide support for subsequent MetaLife Photon social incentives.
1.2 Completing the development of the MetaLife Photon cloud backup interface, building a cloud backup service to provide off-chain asset data recovery functions, and providing a reference for subsequent Photon optimization.
The specific work is as follows:
1. Serverless distributed communication and MetaLife preparations.
1.1 Optimizing the functions of the MetaLife NFT list intermediate service, mainly including preset pre-data acquisition, increasing the refresh frequency, increasing the number of threads, etc., to provide support for improving the efficiency of NFT display.
1.2 Optimizing the interaction logic of the MetaLife NFT contract, reviewing the boundary processing logic in the NFTCollection, and optimizing the front-end connection to provide a reference for improving the user experience of MetaLife.
1.3 Carrying out MetaLife DAO proposal design analysis, including proposal category, element composition, draft demonstration method, data uploading, reputation points, etc., to provide a reference for the application of MetaLife DAO governance functions.
1.4 Continuing to carry out the joint debugging of the MetaLife DAO middleware function interface, completing the interface call and function verification of the NFT2 DAO construction, NFT casting, sale, purchase, voting, and execution process, and providing a solution reference for the subsequent MetaLife DAO construction.
The specific work is as follows:
Participating in the development of the SmartMesh ecological project MetaLife Dapp:
1. Overall reconstruction of SSB, using the streaming mode to monitor SVR push;
2. Encapsulation form and the interactive response of meshing flow mode in RN;
3. Overall planning of post/message/profile and improving renderer reuse;
4. Introducing asynchronous reducer/sub-routing for MVC division and multi-sub-page business coordination;
5. Optimizing social graph communication logic;
6. Completing the Photon database backup to the cloud, and automatically restoring the backed-up Photon data after the user imports it;
7. Solving the crash problem of android ScreenFragment 53 in firebase;
8. Migrating the previous project to the new framework, since the RN 0.69.5 version tripartite library was incompatible with ViewPropTypes;
9. Migrating the original project code of Wallet and Photon to the new project to solve the problem of path and reference;
10. Firebase adds a new account to provide community edition statistics, and completes the project statistics configuration;
11. Optimizing the function of sending a post article to a circle of friends, adding whether to save the return promptly and adjusting the display of enlarged pictures;
12. Becoming familiar with the new project architecture, and configuration environment, moving NFT and DAO-related functions to the new architecture, configuring paths, image resources, and other issues;
13. Rewriting NFT store storage, and placing asynchronous operations in store for medium optimization;
14. Product-related work:
14.1 Experiencing and testing the function of sending pictures in Post, communicating the test results with the development, and verifying the modification;
14.2 Analyzing the function of sharing NFTs to social applications of competing products, completing the interaction and UI design, and organizing the review;
14.3 Analyzing the search function of competing products, and developing the interactive design of the home page, private message, and Post page;
14.4 Performing user demand research and analyzing the research results.

3. In the middle of this week, Henry Wang was invited by HUAWEI CLOUD to attend the Unleash Digital Summit in Bangkok, Thailand. In Huawei’s analysis, we can see that Indonesia and the Philippines are in the last echelon of the digital-first economy. This is because these two populous countries in Southeast Asia have the lowest Internet penetration rates. The deployment of SmartMesh and MeshBox is expected to improve this situation.
Henry has also communicated and formed bonds with his blockchain counterparts in Thailand.
4. On Saturday, SmartMesh Director Professor LI Guoquan and Henry attended the “Blockchain Security Alliance Conference” in Singapore, and Professor Li delivered the opening speech. SUSS NiFT is the organizer of the conference.
