This week SmartMesh has participated in the MetaLife international team go-to-market video conference meeting. The MetaLife team is made up of accomplished professionals from social media SocialFi, decentralized communication NetFi, and VR gaming GameFi. This week Roberto Capodieci, a blockchain technology geek from Italy has joined the MetaLife team as Chief Technology Architect. The team has brought diversified experience and resources to the SmartMesh ecosystem. MetaLife’s global deployment will help in propelling the development of SmartMesh ecosystem. MetaLife beta release is scheduled in first quarter 2022.
- Click-to-generate and scan wifip2p QR code for communication;
- Updated hard-fork blockchain code;
- Tested newly added instruction sets and expanded blocks related to hard-fork Spectrum test network;
- Tested NFT Marketplace smart contracts on upgraded Spectrum testnet;
- Implemented BLE central mode discovery service function on iOS and Android;
- Investigated BLE peripheral mode on iOS and Android to create services with firewall architecture;
- Resolved architecture for secured bluetooth connection protocol in ssb connection protocol, and investigated implementation of BLE interoperability between iOS and Android under this premise.
1.1 Designed Photon super node associated registration scheme, conducted interactive logic analysis on users’ active submission of Photon address registration, and provided scheme preparation for MetaLife social incentives.
1.2 Analyzed development in Layer 2 projects, including: optimized design of cooperative closed channels, cross-regional transfer test performance, community DAO governance feasibility discussion, etc.
- Worked with MetaLife team on serverless distributed communication and MetaLife preparation.
1.1 Participated in detailed discussion on MetaLife architecture, including: overall framework functional module classification, interaction process with contracts, interaction process with Peer and Pub, DAO creation process, POG process, DID and Pub DAO review, etc.
1.2 Continued discussion on MetaLife tokenomic model, formulating SocialFi scheme by combining staking and user ratings, and redefined formula and related parameter standards for incentives in MetaLife.
1.3 Conduced scenario tests on multi-Pub communication and data synchronization functions, including: users who do not follow each other and joining different Pubs, users who do not follow each other and joining different Pubs with intermediaries for communicate, post-interconnection on User access communication between different pubs, etc.
1.4 Documentation on Metalife Pub installation and functional descriptions, including: environment requirements, installation steps, tibs, running scripts, basic function descriptions, etc.
- Provided technical support for the development and improvement of MetaLife:
1.1 Messaging system infrastructure: communication / data model / UI;
1.2 Sorted out the overall structure, reconstruct product logical layer to address DB layer;
1.3 Analyzed social graph, realized mechanism for adding friends, discovery in LAN and follow / unfollow / block functions.
Established common consensus with ecosystem partner MetaLife team on product matters:
- Worked with MetaLife team on feasible solutions related to DAO governance; started with product functions, analyzed popular DAO platforms in the market
- Discussed enhancement on MetaLife user experience and considered adding Faucet-related modules to facilitate user experience and lowering barrier for use;
- Assisted MetaLife team in designing token incentive plans for service providers, and conducted market analysis for discussion.

- This week, Roberto Capodieci, a blockchain technology geek from Italy has joined MetaLife as the Chief Architect. Roberto is a tech geek with a passion in programming since childhood. He sold his first video game at age of 10 and opened his first consulting firm at 14. Roberto first invented the Proof of Stack in 2014 before Ethereum started advocating for decentralization and distributed technology.
