SmartMesh Biweekly Report (2020.11.21-2020.12.04)

As a global financial technology center, the Singapore government values blockchain and financial technology training. The Blockchain Intermediate Developer Training Course will be funded by the Singapore government, sponsored by the Blockchain Association Singapore, and taught by the SmartMesh® team. SmartMesh® and MeshBox® are one of the few projects in the world that can combine blockchain software and hardware for real-world practical business scenarios. This is an important reason why SmartMesh® is recognized by the Blockchain Association Singapore. Prior to this, the SmartMesh® Foundation and Singapore University of Social Sciences jointly established the SUSS-SmartMesh Blockchain Living Labs, conducted workshops and held a blockchain challenge in mid 2020, gaining a reputation in the Singapore blockchain and financial technology industry. The 2021 SUSS-SmartMesh® workshop and blockchain competition are also being planned. Headquartered in Singapore, SmartMesh® and MeshBox® are pleased to provide training for Singapore’s blockchain and financial industry.

Recently, Professor David Lee, SmartMesh® advisor and Singapore Economic Association vice chairman, accepted an exclusive interview with Huobi. Professor Lee gave an in-depth interpretation on ” How does blockchain empower the real economy and promote inclusive finance “.

Professor Lee believes that projects like Libra have significant value for its inclusivity, as it will accelerate the development of CDBC/DCEP. Peer-to-peer distributed communication is a driving force behind the fourth industrial revolution, and Distributed Ledger Technollgy will accelerate the process. The recently signed Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement will undoubtedly bring new opportunities for cross-border trade and accelerate the construction of digital financial facilities in Asia.

The following is the work from the past two weeks in detail:

The specific work is as follows:

  1. Photon optimization related work.

1.1 Continued to analyze the liquidity design of the Photon channel through the DeFi platform.  Considered the combination of DeFi liquidity staking and super node channel dynamic access mechanism, and provided technical support for the subsequent expansion of Layer 2 DeFi.

1.2 Updated the Arm_V8 Photon architecture, confirmed the related functions to support the SMT Token contract, and prepared for expanding the support of the Photon platform.

The specific work is as follows:

  1. Atmosphere interoperability and Living Lab preparations.

1.1 Analyzed the requirements of NFT cross-chain transaction, considered  test cases, contract security evaluation, notary pledge scheme and scenario construction, which provides a reference for subsequent NFT cross-chain implementation.

1.2 Paid attention to the standard design framework between NFT chains, including: working assumptions, SDK modules, UI and usage guides, etc., to prepare for the subsequent design of NFT application scenarios and the construction of resource perfect interoperability ecosystem.

1.3 Continued to collaborate with JED Trade on our Cross-chain project.  Reviewed the financing use cases (on the NFT chain and off-chain loan issuance) and conducted preliminary communication to provide support for subsequent project interoperability and cooperation development.

The specific work is as follows:

The Tango APP ecological module MeshBox® MBOX NFT Swap and subsequent MBOX NFT Staking for DeFi Yield Farming function compliance is being reviewed and adjusted.

Compliance is to guarantee the long-term viability of the project. The SmartMesh® Foundation board of directors values the importance of such a compliance review, as a strong guarantee for the project’s viability, and shows our commitment to token holders and supporters.

This week, the SmartMesh® business marketing activities were busy but carried out in an orderly manner, as follows:
