Recently, SmartMesh ecosystem partner MetaLife has held its first live streaming where Lisa Mariette, Head of Public Relations, held a candid discussion about Web3 technology and trends with Henry Wang, Advisor to MetaLife. During the discussion, Henry elaborated on how Web3 will disrupt the social network scene, where every aspect of users’ data, from user profiles to content and activities are to be cryptographically signed and stored on users’ devices, making users the true owners of their data.
The GWEI (Global Web3 Eco-Innovation) Summit 2022 will be held in July 2022 at the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore. SUSS and 8BTC are the co-organizers of the summit. SUSS will arrange a special exhibition booth for the Blockchain Living Labs where SmartMesh, MeshBox, and MetaLife will be demonstrating and sharing the ecosystem with audiences. SmartMesh, MeshBox, and MetaLife will also be delivering keynote speeches at the GWEI Summit to promote the projects and how Web3 “One World One Web” can be realized with our ecosystem.
- Optimized photon super node incentive function, completed a modification on the incentive distribution frequency adaptive parameters and joint debugging test.
- Performed joint debugging for built-in Photon log reporting function in MetaLife, including error feedback, node status, port update, configuration update, etc.
- Serverless distributed communication and preparations for MetaLife:
1.1 Continued with MetaLife APP functional tests and feedback, including message ID and contact retrieval, content copying, connection status, avatar update, etc.
1.2 Tested content governance Pub reporting interface function, including interface function, parameter setting, interaction logic, disposal plan, etc.
1.3 Conducted comparative analysis of MetaLife architecture against conventional Web3.0 architecture and introduced an off-chain index scheme to provide a reference for the design of MetaLife function expansion.
1.4 Discussed functional requirements of MetaLife DID, defined logical process for DID method, parameter and document generation, DID registration, and analysis.
Assisted in the development of SmartMesh ecosystem project MetaLife app:
- Upgraded data recovery algorithm and implemented private message recovery;
- Implemented post-editing interface, multimedia bar, and picture/photography function realization;
- Implemented post content analysis, picture/sound/feedID/contactID and display;
- home/messages/contacts page retrieval function;
- Added post editing page temporary storage function, as well as full content clearing and item clearing:
- Added image browser, support zoom, sequence browsing;
- Added update prompts for non-focused tab columns;
- Wallet construction: create an account, export account, switch account, delete account;
- Created NFT style modification;
- Photon: Import and debug the iOS SDK.
- Cooperated with the MetaLife team to complete the overall NFT-related functional design after discussion;
- Provided product development support for wallet-related functions in MetaLife products.

3. The community DAO organized and managed by the SmartMesh fans and core members is developing steadily despite the recent market downturn. New members are joining and developing the community with their own initiative with their own resources on a daily basis. In appreciation of the contribution to the community, SmartMesh has put in place a reward mechanism, on behalf of MetaLife, involving MLT to reward core members of the community. The SmartMesh ecosystem aims to create a community with a shared bright future for mankind. We never expect that our business development would always encounter smooth sailing, but as long as we don’t forget our original mission, and persevere, we believe the SMT ecosystem will contribute to the progress of humankind!
