This week, Mr. Henry Wang, the founder of SmartMesh, participated in the Blockchain Economic Forum organised by LATOKEN. The forum mainly focuses on how COVID-19 affects the economic development of China, India as well as Southeast Asia, with the theme : “How to revolutionize enterprises, developing new business modes, finding opportunities in the crisis”. As Henry said, “the impact caused by the epidemic will be one of the most profound and subversive one ever witnessed. The existing world structure will be reconstructed. People are concerned that de-globalization could lead to version 4.0 of globalization, where blockchain will play an active role.
- The world will gradually enter a cashless society. The biggest obstacle is that half of the world ’s population has no network. It is unimaginable that residents of modern society will be isolated at home for several weeks without access to the Internet. When Internet connectivity is not available to such people, a local Mesh network connection and distributed storage can solve the basic needs of local entertainment, education, and social interaction for a community.
- If offline payment (both payer and payee are off-internet) cannot be achieved, it is impossible to move towards a cashless society. SmartMesh and MeshBox ecosystem provides a new infrastructure to enable global cryptocurrencies and support offline payments of various fiat currencies.

1.1 Check the operational status of Photon-related nodes. Perform functional verification on the public chain nodes, contracts and third-party services that Photon depends on to ensure the stability of the test and off-chain transactions.
1.2 Carry out the optimization design of Photon non-intermediate node restrictions, introduce parameters for users to choose the node function type independently, complete the Photon corresponding interface adjustment and PFS routing scheme adjustment and parallel debugging test, and further improve the PFS routing performance.
1.3 Initial work on the adjustment of the overdue contract withdrawal, introduce overtime parameters and set overdue withdrawal logic setting, in order to further improve the user’s token withdrawal experience.
