SmartMesh Weekly(2019.10.08-2019.10.11)

October 10th was a special day for the MeshBox Foundation and the SmartMesh Foundation! At the invitation of Wang Qiheng, the chief adviser of the MeshBox Foundation and chairman of the SmartMesh Foundation, Mr. Richard Wang , a partner of DraperDragon Fund/ DFJ Dragon Fund, officially joined the SmartMesh Foundation (SMT) as an adviser.

DraperDragon Fund is one of the core funds in the Draper Venture Network, a venture capital system owned by Silicon Valley venture capitalist Tim Draper. It focuses on investing in high-tech companies in Silicon Valley and China. The entire Draper Venture Network, including Draper Associate, has the largest investment in the blockchain among all the venture capitals around the world! Their previous portfolio includes Baidu, Tesla, Hotmail, Skype, SpaceX, Twitter, and many other well-known companies and projects.

MeshBox CEO Peter Yan said that Mr. Richard Wang would be the adviser for not only SmartMesh, but also the ecosystem built by MeshBox and SmartMesh, which will undoubtedly have a vital impact on our global deployment and speed up our progress at the same time.

MeshBox adviser Henry Wang said that the next decade is a decade when commercial aerospace and blockchain distributed networking will connect people and change the world and space ground integration network will be the world’s largest collaborative project as well as the largest blockchain application, because it will help the spread of sovereignty and super-sovereign digital currency in the 3.9 billion people who do not yet have access to the Internet. Whether the countries of the world can reach a consensus on the space ground integration network determines the direction of the human world. He believes that Mr. Richard Wang, the new adviser for SmartMesh, and his DraperDragon Fund will definitely bring great help to its development.

Here are the specifics of this week:

The specific work is as follows:

1. Spectrum public chain:

1.1 The overall design of the second version of the public chain.

1.2 Detailed design of the link layer.

1.3 Completed the mainnet mapping of the public chain token MESH.

2. Perception network:

2.1 Continued the research on the application of the python twisted framework in Perception network.

The specific work is as follows:

  1. 1. Photon and Matrix optimization

1.1 Performed Photon private key security analysis of MeshBox version, demonstrated private key management methods, security assurance and potential risk factors and proposed targeted optimization measures to improve the security benefits of Photon operation in MeshBox.

1.2 Optimized the design of the PMS extension function, cancel the PMS delegation priority limit, and allow the PMS delegation to be accepted when the principal submits the certificate to avoid the channel asset loss caused by the node data loss.

1.3 Performed Photon query optimization design, modified the node synchronization status check mode and process, checked the node synchronization status before querying the event log to the SMC node, to avoid the node status error caused by data out of synchronization.

1.4 Optimized the performance of the Matrix server, solved the bug that the CPU usage is too high when pulling the history of the room, modified the scheduling and calculation method of pulling the history message, and introduced new filtering rules to improve the overall running performance of the Matrix.

The specific work is as follows:

1. Atmospheric cross-chain custom design.

1.1 Continued to logically interface with the APP front-end, communicated cross-chain parameter configuration and interface call mode, and provided application support for Singapore Living Lab cross-chain concept verification.

1.2 Carried out the TokenSwap exchange and support demonstration on the chain, and carried out the feasibility analysis of the extended contract split order and the new order function to quickly complete the mapping Token interchange, and improved the applicability of further scenario application.

1.3 Continued to update the cross-chain technical documentation, and expand the details of the Lock-In process message interaction mechanism to improve the accuracy of the document.

1.4 Conducted the preliminary framework design of Ethereum and Spectral Cross-Chain Contract Specification, described the overall requirements and some data structures, and provided reference for Living Lab and cross-chain ecological scenario application support.

The specific work is as follows:

  1. Atmosphere cross-chain APP development.
  2. Synchronous adjustment of the functions optimized for the Photon network.
  3. Completed the new version of the APP and the mainnet mapping of the MESH Token.

  1. Richard Wang, a partner of DraperDragon Fund, joined the SmartMesh Foundation as adviser on October 10. Mr. Richard Wang said: “I worked on communication technology in my early years and focused on investing in AI, IoT and blockchain in recent years. I believe that I will greatly help the strategic development of SmartMesh. At the same time, I will actively help the SmartMesh ecosystem in terms of funding, global development and deployment

SmartMesh Founder and CEO Henry said, “I like Yue Hua’s ideal of “being a dreamer who changes the world”. Those who have the same dreams will come together sooner or later. When Yue Hua extended funds and resources to me, I sincerely invited him to join the SmartMesh Foundation. The next decade is a decade when commercial aerospace and blockchain distributed networking connects the world and changes the world. In my opinion, the space ground integration network is the world’s largest collaborative project in the next decade, and of course the largest blockchain application. Whether the countries of the world can reach a consensus on the space ground integration network determines the direction of the human world.”

1. SmartMesh Founder&CEO Henry Wang was invited to participate in the “Global IC·Sensor Summit & China Internet of Things Application Summit” held in Guangzhou on October 10–12, and delivered a speech on “Space Ground Integration Network and the Next-generation HyperMesh Architecture”.

Former Vice Minister of Science and Technology Cao Jianlin and Chen Jing, who is the Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Scientist of China Aerospace, attended the summit and gave a speech.

Mr. Wang’s speech won the applause of the audience. After the meeting, many experts said that though China’s aerospace industry has been confused by the profit model, the depth of Mr. Wang’s speech made them feel that the aerospace industry needs to look especially at the world market.

Mr. Wang said that he also benefited from the speeches and discussions of academicians, experts and investment institutions. The focus of Essence Capital’s commercial aerospace indicate that satellite broadband will be the next growth point for satellite communications. This is also an important market for SmartMesh and MeshBox space ground integration network.

Mr. Wang hopes to thank the Organizing Committee and Zhongke Hangyu (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. for their warm hospitality!

3. Henry Wang, Chairman of SmartMesh Foundation, will give a speech and demonstrate the innovative application of Singapore’s financial technology companies to a visiting Korean delegation on the 17th November in Singapore at the invitation of Fintech Hub of Singapore.
