In the early morning of April 25th, the SmartMesh team discovered an Ethereum smart contract overflow vulnerability affecting SMT Tokens.
In order to safeguard the interests of all investors, the team has already communicated with exchanges such as Huobi, OKEX, and Gate.io to suspend all SMT transactions and transfers. The SmartMesh team immediately took emergency measures upon discovery of the flaw and in addition to actively cooperating with the major exchanges, has frozen the addresses holding any “counterfeit tokens”, which did not occur in large amounts. The bug has been completely resolved meanwhile and the incident is under control.
The SmartMesh Spectrum main network will go online on April 30th. This network will be independent from Ethereum, and will also be more secure!
