This week, the SmartMesh ecological project MetaLife is negotiating cooperation with a number of partners, and will soon sign MOAs. The parties will conduct in-depth cooperation in the fields of NFT and digital collections. The Football World Cup will be held in November, and existing football partners have actively contacted MetaLife for cooperation. In addition, MetLife’s other marketing and business development work is also progressing steadily. Various activities such as NFT lottery, NFT price voting, and membership card sales have attracted many users, and the number of Discord users has reached 23,000. Currently, there are NFT collections being traded in the MetaLife beta version.
The specific work is as follows:
1.1 Carried out joint debugging of the transfer incentive function of SocialFi super nodes, and checked the consistency of the Pub statistics interface and the Photon channel incentive distribution quota data, so as to provide a reference for the subsequent MetaLife Photon social application;
1.2 Researched the progress of related Layer2 projects, mainly including integration with Rollup, accessibility optimization, light client WebUI implementation, etc., to provide a reference for subsequent Photon optimization.
The specific work is as follows:
1. Serverless distributed communication and MetaLife preparations:
1.1 Conducted MetaLife NFT trading function test feedback, mainly including NFT casting and display, NFT transfer, NFT pending order transaction and cancellation of transactions, etc., to provide a reference for MetaLife experience evaluation;
1.2 Carried out MetaLife communication service upgrade evaluation, including database upgrade, EBT implementation, GOSSB migration, etc., to provide a reference for MetaLife communication support;
1.3 Sorted out SNS function logic, including SNS registry, resolver, registrar, reverse registrar, reverse resolver, etc., to provide a reference for MetaLife domain name service function application;
1.4 Carried out the MetaLife DAO middleware functional interface test, completed the DAO construction, DAO setting, and DAO query interface invocation and function verification, and provided a solution reference for the subsequent MetaLife DAO construction.
The specific work is as follows:
Participating in the development of the SmartMesh ecological project MetaLife Dapp:
1. In order to improve Android performance/experience focused on testing the opening conditions and applicability of the new RN architecture;
2. Upgraded the framework, optimized the nodejs compilation script, simplified SSB (exclude TS) and script modification/simplification related to the adaptation of the new version of RN;
3. In-depth research on SSB composition and framework constraints, compared similar planetary SDKs, and future feasibility assessment;
4. Optimized the function of the Wallet module, and used the Wallet object to perform a series of transaction actions more safely;
5. Solved the app problem caused by the comma in the numbers of some countries;
6. Added the failure flag to the transaction record list, and added the address verification function for wallet transfers;
7. Optimized app switching the account to start and stop Photon service;
8. Fixed the issue of the account being blocked due to the transaction with too low a gas fee;
9. Optimized NFT functions and logic, created NFTs to support uploading audio and video, users only need to put the NFT audio and video to be sold on IPFS and copy the corresponding Content Identifier (CID) to the corresponding location to create a playable NFT, through the My item Details or details of Open Galaxy, users can play audio and video, and support basic audio and video functions;
10. Added judgment on the current account balance and observer mode for pending orders, purchases, cancel pending orders, create NFT and collection, and the following step is disabled if the observer mode or the balance is insufficient; and these transactions are processed safely;
11. Optimized open galaxy paging loading, added click to enlarge function for open galaxy details and item details pictures, modified the problem that NFT gas cost is too low, and added format check for input address;
12. Became familiar with DAO interface documents and middleware documents, and loading of DAO homepage data;
13. Product-related work:
13.1 Completed the pen Galaxy trading market demand document, coordinated development resources, and participated in evaluating development plans;
13.2 Analyzed the function and interaction design of the contact part of multiple social products, and started to optimize the interaction of the MetaLife APP homepage, messages, and contacts;
13.3 Continued user experience testing of NFT-related functions and collect user feedback;
13.4 Provided relevant information on the APP Store.

Last week, at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), Professor Li Guoquan exchanged the plans and policies of the Singapore government on “Building a Web2 & Web3 Ecosystem” with officials such as MAS and the Enterprise Bureau of the Singapore Government. At the meeting, Professor Swee-Won Lo reviewed the development of SUSS NiFT over the past few years, including the Sunshine Blockchain Living Lab jointly built by SmartMesh and SUSS.
SmartMesh CEO Henry and Vice President Soh Har were invited to attend the meeting and have business exchanges with government departments.
