The following is the specific work in the past two weeks:
The specific work is as follows:
- Photon optimization related work.
1.1 Continued to study the development of Layer-2 DeFi solutions, understanding strategies to access DeFi protocols, new DeFi protocol integration, Rollup core integration and multi-chain. Provided technical support for the subsequent expansion of Photon Token Swap.
1.2 Continued to design the two-tier architecture for the SmartMesh IoT ecosystem (main Spectrum chain and Mesh side-chain), analyzing Photon IoT devices interactive control scenarios and processes in dual-chain mode, providing a reference for the subsequent expansion of the SmartMesh ecosystem application scenarios.
1.3 Jointly debug Photon functions with MeshBoxes for demonstration of the SUSS Living Labs network. Tested and verify functions such as channel creation and XMPP services, providing support for subsequent expansion of the ecosystem cooperation with a major supply-chain company.
The specific work is as follows:
- Atmosphere interoperability and work related to JED Trade cooperation projects.
1.1 Continued to research the related IoT cross-chain projects DeFIoT, analyzing the IOT sensor device operation on-chain and off-chain to trigger smart agriculture application scenarios. Preparing to improve cross-chain adaptability with distributed notaries.
1.2 Continued to research the cross-chain DeX scheme, analyzing the liquidity principle of the Dex scheme and the digital signature technology designed by different blockchain systems. Researched the reward mechanism, providing a reference for the subsequent expansion of cross-chain DeFi functions.
1.3 Continued to cooperate with JED Trade to organize the IMDA report materials, summarizing and verifying interaction and supporting documents of the NFT contract representation for invoices (INV) and cross-chain notaries. Provided reference for the project’s cross-chain interoperability plan.
The specific work is as follows:
Combining SmartMesh and MeshBox ecosystem projects, carrying out product planning based on WEB3.0+DAO.
The business and marketing activities of the SmartMesh project as follows:
- AID:Tech, which has recently received investment from SGInnovate, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with SmartMesh and MeshBox. AID: Tech has been changing people’s lives through decentralized digital identity technologies, including in the field of welfare distribution, microinsurance, payment network and government aid distribution. Decentralized blockchain technology ensures transparency and tamper-proof security. AID:Tech has 7 years of experience in deploying blockchain-based DeFi solutions for customers in Asia, Africa and the United States. Their clients include governments, non-government organizations, and financial institutions.
AID:Tech CEO Joseph Thompson said that the cooperation between AID:Tech, SmartMesh, and MeshBox will accelerate the deployment of inclusive finance and inclusive communications, bring cutting edge technologies to countries in Southeast Asia, bring convenience to people who don’t have Internet access. By 2030, everyone around the world should have a legal digital identity that allows them to prove who they are, and access the financial services that they are currently lacking, helping millions of people who need DeFi the most.

3. The Photon payment network integration and demonstration with business partners for deployment in Southeast Asia was launched on the university campus of SUSS in Singapore. A newly recruited SmartMesh Singapore field test engineer conducted tests and demonstrated Spectrum blockchain synchronization and Layer-2 Photon payment network in the SUSS Blockchain Living Labs.
Currently, the epidemic situation in Southeast Asian countries such as the Philippines has reached a record high. To a certain extent, SmartMesh and MeshBox deployment speed has been hampered. However, the epidemic has forced Southeast Asian countries to accelerate the construction of inclusive communications and inclusive finance. We expect that after the pandemic, the inclusive communications and inclusive finance applications developed by SmartMesh will enter a new stage of deployment.
